Care homes told to improve after health and safety probe

Some 20 care homes across Somerset have been told they can improve health and safety standards after a series of unannounced inspections.

Legionnaires' bacteria found at Galway hospital

The bacteria which causes Legionnaires' disease has been found at six locations in the water supply at Galway's University College Hospital so far this year, it was confirmed today.
