Legionella Prevention - This in-depth
Legionella
prevention training course has been developed as
an advanced workshop based on the issues that surround
the prevention of Legionella and Legionnaires’
disease, the practical management and treatment of water
systems, health and safety data management, an in-depth
examination of current UK legislation, good practice
procedures and a review of recent outbreaks. The course
completes with a test of competence and discussion forum.
Awareness of Legionella and the potentially deadly
effects of Legionnaires’ disease has grown rapidly
in recent years. With several major outbreaks and high
profile prosecutions under the Health & Safety at
Work Act it’s now more important than ever that
organisations and individuals understand their legal
duties and the serious consequences of a failure to
comply with the law.
Who Should Attend?
This course will be of most benefit to water treatment
professionals and experienced technical, engineering
and maintenance staff who have been involved in the
management of water services for several years, and
wish to increase their competence levels.
